The following security tips were discussed at the December meetings with the constable team from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office (P4CO) to help keep Treeline safe.

Enhanced Patrols in Treeline

P4CO receives $1.5 million annually in supplemental funding from MUD 5, which enables them to effectively patrol 23 neighborhoods, including Treeline. This funding supports the efforts of 13 Deputies and 3 Lieutenants, enhancing our community's safety through an increased patrol presence.

Important Contact Information

Add P4CO Dispatch: 281-376-3472 to your phone favorites and never hesitate to call when needed.

Communication, Social Media & Community Awareness

Before posting concerns on social media, notify P4CO directly, as they can validate the concerns, for example, gunshots vs. fireworks, and avoid unnecessary alarm.

Alarm Monitoring & Response

Homeowners have the option to designate their preferred law enforcement agency for responses to home alarm activations. P4CO's average response time is less than 15 minutes, which exceeds the response efficiency of the local Sheriff’s Office.

Homeowners are encouraged to contact their alarm service provider to verify or to select P4CO as their designated responding agency.

Vacation Watch and Extra Patrol Requests

Their website outlines required information and provides safety tips while you are away(Community Involvement → Services Offered → Vacation Watch Request).

Extra Patrol Requests may be submitted if you observe suspicious activity.

  • (832) 927-6230 during regular business hours

  • (281) 376-3472 after hours

Protecting Your Property

To improve the chances of recovering stolen property:

  • Record serial numbers of valuables.

  • Create a video inventory of your belongings.

  • Add the last four digits of your SSN or your driver’s license number on valuables in an inconspicuous location so officers can identify and return recovered property.

Accidents & Safety

If involved in an accident, do not leave the scene unless the situation becomes volatile or unsafe.

Welfare Checks

P4CO conducts welfare checks when requested.
