The long-awaited North Eldridge widening project appears to be coming to fruition.  Harris County Department of Engineering provided a draft of a Temporary Construction Easement which has been approved by the Board and executed on behalf of TCAI.  We do not have a firm start date, but earlier conversations suggest late Q3 or early Q4. Demolition of portions of our entrance and exit lanes will occur, and those will be rebuilt to an elevation appropriate to match the elevation of the new road surface.  The finished product will include curbing, sidewalks, and turn lanes.  We do not have any new information on planned traffic control (signal lights) structures.  During construction, all inbound and outbound traffic will be alternately routed through the entrance and exit lanes while the other is being constructed.
