Front Gate Whack-a-Mole

The arcade game that is our front gate now has a bonus category.  Each time our gate gets hit we now charge a fee of $750 for inconvenience in addition to the cost of the gate.  This will enable us to pay for a new gate after 3 hits!  In those rare occurrences where we cannot identify the offending party and file a claim against such party’s insurance carrier, we’ll build a modest reserve to pay for the new gate.

We are fortunate that J C Hood Ornamental Gates and Iron, our new provider, had the presence of mind to build a jig for our gates design to expedite rebuilding & replacement of our damaged gates.  J C Hood, located in Magnolia, has been extremely helpful in managing the gates and motors.
